Jennyfer Faridy Cocco, M.D.

Dr. Jennyfer Faridy Cocco is a Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon practicing in Dallas/Fort Worth. She is one of the few fully trained American plastic surgeons that is Female, Bilingual and Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in the nation. She is highly skilled in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring and various other cosmetic and reconstructive procedures in men and women of all ages. She also offers procedures for the female genital area as well as other non-invasive solutions for facial aging including facial fillers and Botox.

Dr. Cocco’s philosophy emphasizes optimizing her patients before surgery to achieve the best result possible, while maintaining patient safety and privacy. This is why she operates only in fully accredited facilities. She believes communication is the key to a good doctor-patient relationship; she encourages questions from her patients and strives to provide honest answers. Dr Cocco also understands the role of patient comfort plays in coping with the healthcare environment and ultimately, in healing and recovering faster. She actively promotes comfort in every stage of patient care. Part of Dr. Cocco’s philosophy focuses on treating and caring for patients the way she would like to be treated herself. She has carefully selected and trained her staff to convey this sense of well-being while delivering the best care possible.

Dr. Cocco’s education began in Arizona where she attended Shadow Mountain High School and graduated when she was only 16 years old. She was accepted to the University of Arizona, in Tucson, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and minored in French and Chemistry. She then received her Medical degree from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine. Afterwards, Dr. Cocco was selected to complete her plastic surgery internship and residency at the highly competitive University of Texas Medical Branch program, which was one of less than 10 programs in the country offering a five-year integrated curriculum in all areas of plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Cocco’s rigorous residency training program has equipped her with the tools to take care of victims of facial trauma, cancer, and burns. She has experience in the treatment of congenital malformations, such as ear deformities, skin growths, and other enlarged or abnormal body parts. After completing her residency in Plastic Surgery, she sought additional training in reconstructive microsurgery. She traveled to Switzerland and Belgium to improve her microsurgical techniques using perforator flaps for breast and lower extremity reconstruction.

Dr. Cocco has since continued to refine her cosmetic surgery skills by training with internationally renowned aesthetic surgeons through various traveling apprenticeships, as well as regularly attending seminars and conventions, both in the U.S. and Europe, for the purpose of continuing education.
