Education and Training
Prior to working in Dallas as a board certified plastic surgeon, Paul Pin, MD, attended Duke University where he was Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1978. He remained at Duke for medical school, then trained for six post-graduate years at Washington University in St. Louis, where he spent a year as Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pin also completed a special fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Boston.
Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Pin, and he regularly attends seminars and conferences in plastic and cosmetic surgery. Having been published widely in plastic surgery literature, Dr. Pin maintains his interest in academic surgery through his involvement with the plastic surgery residents from Southwestern Medical School, where he serves as Clinical Instructor in plastic surgery.
Dr. Pin constantly strives to investigate the latest procedures in plastic surgery; through judgment and experience, he feels able to decide which new procedures for breast surgery, body contouring, and facial plastic surgery are safe and effective and can be offered to our patients.
