William P. Adams Jr., M.D.
Dr. Adams is an international authority on breast augmentation and breast implant research. He developed new techniques for use in clinical breast implant surgery that has made breast augmentation and breast reconstruction safer for patients.
Dr. Adams has presented more on the innovation of breast augmentation in the past five years than arguably anyone else in the world. His passion for educating mirrors his passion for performing surgery and changing the lives of his patients. He developed an elite curriculum for surgeons everywhere, giving them access to learn how to perform breast enlargement surgery in a safer, superior, more rapid manner. His approach to breast augmentation surgery has significantly enhanced the overall patient experience and inspired other surgeons to adopt similar methods.
To further educate the community, fellow surgeons, and patients, Dr. Adams is invited annually to attend plastic surgery conferences all around the globe, where he performs live surgical procedures and shares his mission.
Dr. Adams spent his first 10 years in practice in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center before transitioning to full time private practice, in order to devote more time to his clinical practice and developments. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center, in addition to the Director of the Aesthetic Fellowship Program.
He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University. He then attended Vanderbilt University Medical School, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and received the prestigious award for Best Graduating Clinician. He completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery residency in the nationally renowned resident training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he completed his fellowship in plastic surgery at UT Southwestern.
